The Centre for the Advancement of Research and Development in Educational Technology (CARDET) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental, research and development organization based in Cyprus with partners around the world. It has a portfolio of more than a 100 completed projects, which most of them are in the area of Migration and Integration. The organization has developed information guides for returning procedures concerning the following countries: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Syria, India, Pakistan, Philippines, China, Georgia and Turkey.

CARITAS INTERNATIONAL BELGIUM (CIB) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) and is the Belgian link of a worldwide network of 163 catholic organizations which are active in 200 countries/regions all together. Caritas International helps victims of war, natural disasters and poverty in their own country or escaping from their country. Caritas works in foreign countries on emergency relief and reconstruction as well as on development projects. In Belgium Caritas is active on small-scale reception and assistance of asylum seekers, tutorship of non-accompanied minors, first line social assistance to legal and irregular migrants and voluntary return and reintegration in the country of return. CIB was founded in 1932 in order to centralize the catholic health and social initiatives for the poor; in 1949, Caritas started to support the migrants in Belgium. Soon afterwards, the organization started to provide international assistance in emergency situations. In parallel, CIB supported micro-projects which, in time, also evolved into supporting of structural programs of development around the topic of food security, mainly in the Great Lakes region in Africa.
